The Any Dream Will Do Review

Booklet
Submission Guidelines

Writers,

I need a few specific stories. The stories I need are not for the Any Dream Will Do Review. They are for something new I will start in the spring. Please look at the catalog on the index page. As you can see, I’m promising:

  • Exciting fiction, but it shows deep emotions too. You must use the guidelines at Magazine Submission Guidelines.
  • Short booklets so they won’t cost much. E.g., 8000 to 10,000 words is good.
  • For all ages
  • Depicting: people who need treatment and are refusing it
  • Then they change their attitudes, get treatment and benefit from it.

What I need most of all are booklets for teenaged and young adult boys, and also for teenaged and young adult girls. These teens must be included in the product line because puberty is the age-range when most people discover that they are mentally ill, if they are. If you can write a story based on these specs about a young teen whom the young readers will really like, I need you!

I realize that not all writers can write on spec like this, especially not fiction writers. And the specs for booklets are much more demanding than the specs for magazine stories. But people will love these booklets. They will buy them from the corporation website. All proceeds, including author subsidies to the corporation, will go to the corporation (nonprofit) to produce and sell more booklets.

I firmly believe that reading psych-inspirational stories can make people less prejudiced toward the mentally ill. And this prejudice is most of what’s gotten so many people creating bad scenes and making trouble instead of getting the treatment they need.
